Making money from your Twitter account.

SponsoredTweets referral badge

I found a great way to make some extra cash. For those familiar with Twitter this is a very simple way to make some extra money. Basically it involves the very simple process of allowing companies to advertise as sponsors. I Just signed up for Sponsored Tweets and had one company offer within minutes.
This is certainly an easy way to add a few extra dollars to your pocket with very little effort (and it only takes a minute or two to set up - and costs nothing although you need to have a minimum of 50 Twitter followers). Refer others and you also get paid a percentage of earnings. For more on this venture click on the banner above and check it out for yourself.

What you know can make you a lot of money - here's how.

Hi everyone, I have been extremely busy over the past few months - hence I have not had much time to attend to this blog and give it more articles. Most of my time has been devoted to developing other blogs and ideas related to my chosen niches. this leads me to the topic of this post. I have been doing a lot of research on what exactly successful businesspeople (particularly those that work at home) do to make a good income for themselves and I believe it boils down to a few basics.
Knowledge and passion and finding a niche. Also on many occasions it has to do with what they are interested in and that interest being shared with like minded individuals since these are where their customers are. To understand how to marry all these ingredients to create a successful business drop by my post http://yourstreamingmedia.com/2010/03/using-streaming-video-to-make-money-here-is-one-idea/ which gives one example of how to combine what you know with a little technology know - how to create a successful business you can work easily from home.

This product generated over $450K in commissions to this Las Vegas Realtor.

Businesses are getting hold of new technology, running with it and producing some startling results.
It seems that video communication is no longer just a gimmick but is being seen as a viable and advantageous form of effective marketing.
Perhaps this new tool will create more trust in the online world and open up business partnerships previously less likely in the online world.
For one real estate agent her journey with streaming media took her to the other side of the world without leaving her office and generated over 450 thousand US dollars in commissions (not bad for a few minutes of streaming video technology).

Your knowledge can make you money - Here's one idea how.

Do you have a skill or talent?
It's a proven fact that some people will happily pay to learn a useful skill that will help them.

Car repair manuals, do it yourself tutorials, craft and home improvement shows have a huge following and are in themselves a multi million dollar industry.
One guaranteed way to generate income is to teach a skill or talent that is in demand.

An example I came across literally by accident demonstrates how a stay at home mom discovered a niche market and is capitalizing on this.
What she did was simple but effective and with a minimum up front cost and a few days filming with a video camera, and she has established for herself a nice passive income.
Below is the example of her niche.

This is just a free sample to effectively advertise her knowledge.
All her other "how to videos" are safely locked away in a server.

Her customers pay an entry fee (via Paypal) after which they are emailed the URL where they plug in a password that gives them access to the site.
They can then view all the tutorial videos online at their leisure.

This idea is brilliant in a number of ways.

Firstly there is only a small initial cost - basically a video camera, and some editing software (which you can get either with the camera, at low cost or even free such as windows movie editor).
A little time for recording, editing and uploading each video.
A company to host your "pay-per-view" videos (a small monthly fee).
And an account with Paypal (free).

Secondly because her tutorials are online there is no need to produce, package and mail anything.
They are available 27hours a day every day so there is no waiting for her customers.

Thirdly
Because her videos are streamed rather than downloaded and they are safe in a password protected "Vault" they can't be pirated.

It really is a brilliant way to make some extra cash - and if you're good at it there is absolutely no reason why you couldn't build a whole list of tutorials and make a living out of it.

There are a few hosting services available for Pay Per View but I personally believe for the sake of simplicity and value for money you can't go past helloWorld which has now included in their range of excellent tools an easy "Pay-Per-View" feature.

Top 10 Sins of Blog Usability (and how you can brush up on getting more visitors who will eventually become customers).

"Sinning" is an archery term, which literally means "to miss the mark." If you're blogging to establish a two-way dialogue with the world, the "mark" is the optimal reader experience.
I received this article in my inbox recently and decided to share it since we are about building an income online (and blogging is a great way to promote products and generate a steady flow of traffic to your business).
On reading this article it made me aware of areas I needed to brush up on - I trust it will help you too.
